Ann...brings wisdom and insight
In her early teens, Ann wanted to be a bush pilot. The notion of a young woman becoming a pilot much less a bush pilot in the late 40's early 50's was not met with any enthusiasm or support from her family. Ann's desire to fly continued and on several opportunities has flown planes and gliders.
Travel has always been a driving force in her life, prompting her to attend and graduate as a Travel Agent from SST Travel School. Ann joined Renaissance Travel in 2001 and has been an active participant in trade shows, itinerary research and escorting groups.
Ann has traveled to Sweden, Mexico, and China on shopping trips. One year, Ann's search for "really neat" Christmas cards took her to Montreal, Canada. Ann is passionate about art, history, culture, textiles and is an admitted foodie, so her travels reflect her interests.
On a trip to New Orleans to research a "chick trip", she fell in love with the people, food and music of the "Big Easy" only to have her heart broken. Two days after leaving New Orleans Katrina struck. The chick trip was postponed and will be rescheduled soon please contact Ann for information.
Ann enjoys cruising and has traveled on both large and small ships, including steamboats.
